ROD ROTARY DRIVING DEVICE AND SOIL IMPROVEMENT MACHINE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod rotary driving device capable of surely holding a rod which projects upward from a rod rotary driving device body and suppressing shake of an upper part of the rod, with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A rod rotary driving device 5 comprises a body 13 having a drive shaft in a rotatable manner which a rod 6 is inserted into and is engaged with, rod chuck means 14 which is installed under the body 13 and which can integrally rotate with the drive shaft, and rod-shake stopping means 15 which is installed in the upper part of the body 13 and which can integrally rotate with the drive shaft. The rod-shake stopping means 15 comprises a cylindrical member 21 which is provided upward from the top face of the drive shaft, a ring-shaped upper cover member 22 fastened to the top edge of the cylindrical member, and a plurality of roller members 23 arranged in the upper cover member 22 in the circumferential direction and at equal intervals and abutting the outside face of the rod 6, and the roller member 23 can rotate via a support shaft of the horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
