SEISMIC STRENGTHENING DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve aseismic performance of a rigid-frame structure while reducing the number of reinforcement points without placing a burden on a foundation.SOLUTION: A seismic strengthening device 40 comprises: a vertical member 4 which is vertically installed along at least any one of columns 20 constituting a rigid-frame structure; and energy absorbing mechanisms 3 which are respectively installed between upper sections 20 and 30 of the rigid-frame structure and an upper edge of the vertical member 4 and between lower sections 10 and 20 of the rigid-frame structure and a lower edge of the vertical member 4. The energy absorbing mechanisms 3 are adapted to absorb energy which causes the vertical member 4 to incline by elastically deforming with an inclination of the vertical member 4 to a horizontal plane when the rigid-frame structure oscillates in a manner that displaces the upper sections 20 and 30 of the rigid-frame structure in a horizontal direction with respect to the lower sections 10 and 20 thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】補強個所を少なくし、かつ基礎に負担をかけずに、ラーメン構造物の耐震性能を向上させる。【解決手段】耐震補強装置40は、ラーメン構造を構成する少なくとも何れかの柱20に沿うように鉛直方向に設けられる垂直部材4と、ラーメン構造の上部20,30と垂直部材4の上端との間、およびラーメン構造の下部10,20と垂直部材4の下端との間にそれぞれ設けられるエネルギー吸収機構3と、を備えている。また、エネルギー吸収機構3は、ラーメン構造の上部20,30が下部10,20に対し水平方向に変位するように揺れ、垂直部材4が水平面に対して傾斜するのに伴って塑性変形することにより、垂直部材4を傾斜させようとするエネルギーを吸収するように構成されている。【選択図】図2
