VEHICLE REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM AND VEHICLE POSITION DETERMINATION METHOD EMPLOYING THE SYSTEM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle remote control system capable of determining a position of a vehicle with high safety and speedily, and a vehicle position determination method employing the system.SOLUTION: The vehicle remote control system comprises: a chip type key which is used for displaying the position of the vehicle on a handheld electronic device and bi-directionally communicable with the handheld electronic device according to a wireless communication system; and a base station which is mounted in the vehicle and bi-directionally communicable with the chip type key according to the wireless communication system. When the chip type key receives a vehicle position determination command from the handheld electronic device, the chip type key transmits the vehicle position determination command to the base station. When the base station receives the vehicle position determination command, positional information of the vehicle is transmitted to the chip type key and next transmitted to the handheld electronic device by the chip type key, and the handheld electronic device displays the positional information of the vehicle on its own display screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】本発明は、安全性が高く且つ素早く車両を位置確定できる車両遠隔制御システム及び該システムを使用した車両位置確定方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る車両遠隔制御システムは、車両の位置を携帯型電子装置に表示させるために用いられ、無線通信方式によって携帯型電子装置と双方向に通信することができるチップ型キーと、車両に装着されて、無線通信方式によってチップ型キーと双方向に通信することができる基地局と、を備える。チップ型キーが携帯型電子装置から車両位置確定コマンドを受信すると、チップ型キーは、該車両位置確定コマンドを基地局に送信し、基地局は、該車両位置確定コマンドを受信すると、車両の位置情報をチップ型キーに送信し、次に、チップ型キーによって携帯型電子装置に送信し、携帯型電子装置は、車両の位置情報を自身の表示画面に表示する。【選択図】図５
