PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a precast member, which can decrease weight of a member to be conveyed and reduce the number of precast members on a job site, and the precast member.SOLUTION: A precast member 10 is a rectangular precast member that constitutes a wall of an LNG tank. The precast member 10 includes a frame member 20 that has a hole part 21a and that is formed like a rectangular frame, and concrete C that is placed inside the hole part 21a in a state in which the frame member 20 is arranged in such a manner that the hole part 21a is directed upward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
