PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which enables a driver to early recognize displayed items on a display device.SOLUTION: A road display system includes: a display device having an LED dot matrix; a lighting device having on the upper side of the display device three or more lighting portions arrayed in an array direction along the upper side of the display device; and a controller. The controller sets in the display device a display image to be displayed on the display device, sets in the lighting device a lighting pattern in which the positions of lighted ones of the lighting portions in the array direction vary with time, and sets in the lighting device the lighting pattern in association with the display image which is set in the display device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】運転者が早期に表示装置の表示項目を認識できる技術の提供。【解決手段】本発明の道路表示システムは、ＬＥＤのドットマトリクスを有する表示装置と、前記表示装置の上方において、当該表示装置の上辺に沿った方向である配列方向に並んだ３個以上の点灯部を有する点灯装置と、前記表示装置に表示させる表示画像を前記表示装置に設定し、点灯させる前記点灯部の前記配列方向の位置が時刻に応じて変化する点灯パターンを前記点灯装置に設定するとともに、前記表示装置に設定する前記表示画像に関連付けられた前記点灯パターンを前記点灯装置に設定する制御部と、を備える。【選択図】図３
