PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation shield sealant used for sealing joints, gaps, and the like of a premise, a structure, a storage tank, a container, an instrument, a panel, or the like in which or with which a radiation is handled, excellent in a radiation shielding effect and workability as well as excellent in viscosity, adhesion, and adhesiveness.SOLUTION: The radiation shield sealant contains modified silicone resin (A), a barium sulfate (B), and a plasticizer (C). A polyether polymer having a hydrolyzable silyl group at a terminal thereof is used as the modified silicone resin (A).SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】放射線を取り扱う施設、構造物、貯蔵槽、容器、機具或いはパネル等の目地、隙間等をシールするために用いられる放射線遮蔽シーリング材に関し、放射線の遮蔽効果及び作業性に優れ、また粘性、密着性、接着性にも優れた放射線遮蔽シーリング材を提供する。【解決手段】変性シリコーン樹脂（Ａ）、硫酸バリウム（Ｂ）、及び可塑剤（Ｃ）を含有する放射線遮蔽シーリング材。上記変性シリコーン樹脂（Ａ）として、末端に加水分解性シリル基を有するポリエーテル系重合体を使用する。【選択図】なし
