BANK REINFORCING STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bank reinforcing structure capable of sufficiently reducing an overflow over a bank due to a tidal wave and a flood by raising a height of an upper sheet pile according to a water level raising due to the tidal wave and the flood.SOLUTION: A bank reinforcing structure 1 is constructed on a bank 7 separating a bank outside A and a bank inside B. The bank reinforcing structure 1 according to this invention comprises: a lower sheet pile 31 which is buried under a foundation 8 to a lower side 70a of a bank inner part 70; and an upper sheet pile 32 which is located above the lower sheet pile 31 and buried in an upper side 70b of the bank inner part 70. A lower end 32a of the upper sheet pile 32 is connected to an upper end 31b of the lower sheet pile 31 by a hinge member 4. The upper sheet pile 32 is disposed by inclining the upper end 32b of the upper sheet pile 32 toward the bank outside so that the upper sheet pile rotates to the bank inside B around the hinge member 4 as a rotation axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】津波や洪水により上昇する水位に追随して上部矢板の高さを増大させることで、津波や洪水による堤防の越流を十分に抑制することのできる堤防補強構造を提供する。【解決手段】堤外側Aと堤内側Bとを隔てた堤防7に設けられる堤防補強構造1に関する。本発明を適用した堤防補強構造1は、地盤8内から堤防内部70の下側70aまで埋め込まれる下部矢板31と、下部矢板31の上方で堤防内部70の上側70bに埋め込まれる上部矢板32とを備える。上部矢板32は、下部矢板31の上端部31bに上部矢板32の下端部32aがヒンジ部材4で連結されて、ヒンジ部材4を回転軸として堤内側Bに回転するものとなるように、上部矢板32の上端部32bを堤外側に向けて傾斜させて設けられる。【選択図】図2
