PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce restraints imposed by weight of a demolition system, in building work for advancing demolition of the building from an upper floor to a lower floor while lowering a roof.SOLUTION: A demolition system 10 includes: a temporary column 20 to which a plurality of column materials 21 are detachably connected, which is inserted through an opening 4 formed in a slab 3 of a building 1, and which supports a roof 12; a trestle 34 which is installed on a foundation slab 5 to support the column material 21 in a height position higher by one step than the lowermost position; and a jack 32 which is installed on the foundation slab 5 to hoist/lower the column materials 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
