CASTABLE REFRACTORY FOR MOLTEN METAL CONTAINER LID
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable castable refractory for molten metal container lid which has excellent heat retaining property, and which has excellent thermal shock resistance, falling shock resistance, mechanical strength, as well as excellent resistance against various different damage factor such as corrosion resistance, while having basic property required for lid material such as light in weight.SOLUTION: There is provided castable refractory for molten metal container lid in which fire resistant ingredient comprises, relatively to 100 mass% of the fire resistant ingredient: (A) 50 to 65 mass% of fire resistant particle having 1.30 to 1.70 g/cmof bulk specific gravity, and 8 to 0.3 mm of particle diameter (30 to 45 mass% of particles having 8 to 1 mm of particle diameter, and 15 to 25 mass% of particles having 1 to 0.3 mm of particle diameter); (B) 5 to 12 mass% of expansive fire resistant particle exerts expanding ability when being heated at 1000°C or more; (C) 3 to 12 mass% of fire resistant fine particles having 10 μm or less of median diameter; (D) 15 to 25 mass% of alumina cement; and (E) remaining fire resistant particles having 0.3 mm or less of particle diameter.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】保温性に優れ、かつ軽量であるなどの蓋材に求められている基本特性を有しながら、耐熱衝撃性、耐落下衝撃性、機械的強度、さらには耐食性等の様々の異なる損傷要因に対する抵抗性が優れる高耐用の溶融金属容器蓋用キャスタブル耐火物を提供する。【解決手段】耐火性原料が、前記耐火性原料100質量%に対して、(A)かさ比重1.30〜1.70 g/cm3で、かつ粒径8〜0.3 mmの耐火性粒子(粒径8〜1 mmが30〜45質量%及び粒径1〜0.3 mmが15〜25質量%)が50〜65質量%、(B)1000℃以上で加熱したときに膨張性を発現する膨張性耐火性粒子が5〜12質量%、(C)メジアン径10μm以下の耐火性微粒子が3〜12質量%、(D)アルミナセメントが15〜25質量%、及び(E)残部が粒径0.3 mm以下の耐火性粒子からなることを特徴とする溶融金属容器蓋用キャスタブル耐火物。【選択図】なし
