PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caustic lime-based expansive composition capable of adjusting hydration reaction time of caustic lime itself with manufacturing processes as small as possible so that higher expansive amount can be developed than conventional caustic lime-based expansive materials.SOLUTION: There is provided an expansive composition containing caustic lime solid eluting Mg of 0.7 to 2.5 mass% in terms of MgO as an active ingredient.
