METHOD OF LIQUEFACTION COUNTERMEASURE THROUGH GROUND DESATURATION
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain durability against liquefaction over a long time, when implementing a liquefaction countermeasure through ground desaturation.SOLUTION: A method of liquefaction countermeasure through ground desaturation includes the following steps for: collecting samples from a ground to be improved; determining a saturation degree that maintains a control value, by conducting a test on water retaining property of the samples; installing pumping means for gravity drainage, negative pressure-type water pumping and others, in order to lower a groundwater level in the ground to be improved; desaturation of the ground to be improved by lowering the groundwater level, through pumping of the groundwater from the ground to be improved using the pumping means until reaching the saturation degree that allows the control value to be maintained; and preventing liquefaction by maintaining the desaturation of the ground to be improved, by suspending groundwater pumping by the pumping means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 地盤の不飽和化による液状化対策を行う際に、長期間にわたって液状化強度を維持する。【解決手段】 改良対象地盤のサンプルを採取する工程と、サンプルの保水性試験を行って管理値を維持可能な飽和度を決定する工程と、改良対象地盤中の地下水位を低下させるために、重力排水又は負圧揚水等の揚水手段を設置する工程と、揚水手段を用いて、管理値を維持可能な飽和度となるまで、改良対象地盤中から地下水を揚水することにより地下水位を低下させて、改良対象地盤を不飽和化する工程と、揚水手段による地下水の揚水を停止して、改良対象地盤の不飽和化を維持して液状化を防止する工程とを含む。【選択図】図１
