PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension type column capable of applying tension to a column body only through treading of an operation pedal and fixing the column body and enabling everybody including powerless person to perform a comfortable and fast installation of the column.SOLUTION: A tension type column comprises: a column body 1 including a ceiling side pipe 4 and a floor side pipe 5; a telescopic lock unit 6; a ceiling base 2; and a tension structure 3. The tension structure 3 comprises: a fixing base 21; a lift mechanism for ascending or descending the floor side pipe 5; and a lock mechanism for locking the floor side pipe 5 at its tension position in such a manner that the floor side pipe may not be descended. The lift mechanism includes: a lift pin 44; an operation pedal 45 connected to the lift pin 44; and a pedal supporting body 46 for accepting a treading force of the operation pedal 45. Upon treading the operation pedal 45, the operation pedal 45 oscillates around the lift pin 44 while receiving a treading reaction force from the pedal supporting body 46 to lift up the floor side pipe 5. A member going together with the ascending floor side pipe 5 is engaged with the lock mechanism to lock and held the column body 1 in its tension state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】操作ペダルを踏み込むだけで支柱本体を突っ張り固定でき、従って、非力なユーザーを含む誰もが支柱の設置を軽快かつ迅速に行える突っ張り型支柱を提供する。【解決手段】天井側パイプ４および床側パイプ５を含む支柱本体１と、伸縮ロック具６と、天井ベース２および突っ張り構造３を備えている。突っ張り構造３は、固定ベース２１と、床側パイプ５を上下操作する昇降機構と、床側パイプ５を突っ張り位置で下降不能にロックするロック機構を備えている。昇降機構は、リフトピン４４と、同ピン４４に連結される操作ペダル４５と、操作ペダル４５の踏込み力を受止めるペダル支持体４６を含む。操作ペダル４５を踏込むと、操作ペダル４５がペダル支持体４６から踏込み反力を受けながらリフトピン４４の周りに揺動して床側パイプ５を上昇操作する。上昇する床側パイプ５と同行する部材をロック機構で係合して、支柱本体１を突っ張り状態にロック保持する。【選択図】図１
