HYDRATED LIME AND ACID GAS REMOVER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: hydrated lime which has a sufficiently large BET specific surface area and active ingredient content of hydrated lime, and COD of which is suppressed low; and a method for producing hydrated lime.SOLUTION: The hydrated slime is produced by a slaking process 4 where lime 1 and water 3 are reacted. A prescribed additive 2 to be used in the slaking process 4 is added, where the additive 2 comprises a material in which an organic compound having a hydroxyl group and an inorganic compound containing silicon dioxide are combined. Hydrated slime produced by using these additives can satisfy both of a low COD and a high BET specific surface area, and is suitably utilized as an acid gas remover and the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】BET比表面積および消石灰の有効性分量を十分に大きくすると共にCODを低く抑えた消石灰および消石灰の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の消石灰は、生石灰1と水3を反応させる消化工程4によって製造される消石灰であって、消化工程4に用いられる所定の添加剤2が添加され、添加剤2は、ヒドロキシル基を有する有機化合物とニ酸化ケイ素を含有する無機化合物とが組み合わされた物質を含む。これらの添加剤によって製造される消石灰は、低いCODと高いBET比表面積を両立でき、酸性ガス除去剤などに最適に利用される。【選択図】図1
