PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase breakdown field strength of a laminated ceramic electronic component including a dielectric ceramic layer and an internal electrode layer which are 0.5 μm or less in thickness.SOLUTION: A laminated ceramic electronic component includes a dielectric ceramic layer and an internal electrode layer alternately formed therein, the dielectric ceramic layer being mainly composed of ABO(where an A site contains at least Ba, and a B site represents a perovskite crystal containing at least Ti), and also includes an external electrode connected to the internal electrode. An edge portion excluding one end of the internal electrode layer connected to the external electrode has a ceramic part, and the ceramic part contains celsian as a main component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
