WALL-TYPE GROUND IMPROVEMENT METHOD UTILIZING DISPLACEMENT SUPPRESSION WALL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall-type ground improvement method that utilizes a displacement suppression wall, for effectively improving a soft ground by suppressing subsidence of a banking of a structure and surrounding areas utilizing the displacement suppression wall.SOLUTION: For the purpose, a wall-type ground improvement method performs the following steps, in sequence: leaving an unimproved layer on a hard bearing layer, to suit a design standard; forming a wall-type improvement layer by building a plurality of walls at a prescribed interval on the unimproved layer, in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of a banking; forming a shallow layer improvement layer on the wall-type improvement layer, and then performing banking on the shallow layer improvement layer. At least a row of displacement suppression walls is built near an outer edge part in a lateral direction of the banking for the wall, the displacement suppression wall having a gap between constituent members.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】本発明は、変位抑止壁によって構築物の盛土及び周辺部位の沈下を抑制して軟弱地盤の改良を効果的に果たし得る変位抑止壁を備える壁式地盤改良工法を実現することを目的としている。【解決手段】このため、固い層からなる支持層上に設計水準に応じて未改良層を残し、この未改良層上に盛土縦断方向に対して直交するように所定間隔毎に複数の壁を配置して壁式改良層を形成し、壁式改良層上に浅層改良層を形成した後に、浅層改良層上に盛土を行う壁式地盤改良工法において、壁の盛土横断方向の外端部近傍には、構成する部材間に隙間を有する少なくとも1列以上の変位抑止壁を配置している。【選択図】図1
