PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably support the body of a user.SOLUTION: An assisting device for ascending and descending staircases comprises a slider 40 which is slidably mounted on a rail 30 provided at the side of the staircases according to the slope of staircases, and is driven so as to ascend and descend, and an assist member 50 which is mounted on the slider. The assist member 50 is configured of an inverse triangular arm, and in the assist member, a bottom part in parallel to a tread board 12 of the staircase is used as a side supporting arm 52 of a user, and an oblique side part is used as holding arms 54 and 56. The assisting device ascends and descends according to the slide of the assist member while supporting the side supporting arm of the assist member by the right arm 112 and the side of the user 110, and holding the holding arms with the right hand 114.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】使用者の体を安定に支えられるようにする。【解決手段】階段の側方に、階段の勾配に合わせて設けられたレール３０に摺動自在に取り付けられ、上昇及び下降するように駆動されるスライダ４０と、スライダに取り付けられたアシスト部材５０から成る階段昇降用アシスト装置。アシスト部材５０は逆三角形状のアームで構成され、アシスト部材のうち、階段の踏み板１２と並行な底辺部は使用者の脇支えアーム５２として使用され、斜辺部は握持アーム５４，５６として使用される。利用者１１０の右腕１１２と脇でアシスト部材の脇支えアームを支え、右手１１４で握持アームを握りながらアシスト部材のスライドに合わせて昇降する。【選択図】 図７
