AUTOMATIC WATER FAUCET
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic water faucet which prevents water from being discharged unintentionally caused by detection of an object by a detection sensor when a water discharge part is rotated.SOLUTION: An automatic water faucet 1 includes: a water discharge part 3 including a water discharge port 32a at a tip and rotatable in a horizontal turning direction; a valve device provided in a water discharge path leading to the water discharge port; an object detection sensor 6 provided at the water discharge part and capable of detecting an object in a detection region in the vicinity of the water discharge port; rotation detection means capable of detecting the rotation of the water discharge part; and control means capable of controlling water discharge and water stop from the water discharge port. The control means can perform control so that, in the case where the object detection sensor has detected an object, the control means opens the valve device to discharge water and, in the case where the object detection sensor has not detected the object, closes the valve device to stop the water discharge. Also, when the rotation detection means has detected the rotation of the water discharge part, even when the object detection sensor has detected the object, the control means performs control of closing the valve device to prohibit water discharge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】吐水部を回動させた時に、検知センサーによる物体の検知によって意図しない吐水が起こることが抑制された自動水栓を提供すること。【解決手段】先端に吐水口32aを備え、水平旋回方向に回動自在な吐水部3と、前記吐水口に至る吐水経路に設けられた弁装置と、前記吐水部に設けられ、前記吐水口付近の検知領域の物体を検知可能な物体検知センサー6と、前記吐水部の回動を検知可能な回動検知手段と、前記吐水口からの吐水と止水とを制御可能な制御手段と、を備えた自動水栓1であって、前記制御手段は、前記物体検知センサーが物体を検知している場合に、前記制御手段が前記弁装置を開にして吐水させ、かつ、前記物体検知センサーが物体を検知していない場合に、前記弁装置を閉にして吐水を停止させる制御が可能であり、かつ、前記回動検知手段が前記吐水部の回動を検知している時は、前記物体検知センサーが物体を検知しても、前記弁装置を閉にして吐水を禁止する制御を行う。【選択図】図1
