PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently capture floating matters such as a contaminant flowing in a water channel.SOLUTION: A floating matter capture device 100 installed in a water channel 10 in which floating matters flows with water and for capturing floating matters comprises: a filter cloth 370 which has a body part 372 having a plurality of first holes formed and flexibility and an opening 374 installed in the body part 372, and which captures floating matters by the body part 372 when water and floating matters are guided into the body part 372 through the opening 374; and a support part 350 which surrounds at least a part of the body part 372 of the filter cloth 370 from the downstream side of the water flow direction and which has a plurality of second holes larger than the first holes formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
