PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed prevention sheet capable of preventing puddles from being generated on the surface, and suppressing plants such as weeds from growing.SOLUTION: A weed prevention sheet is prepared by combining a water impervious layer with a water retention layer containing short fiber nonwoven fabric. An apparent density of the short fiber nonwoven fabric may be about 0.04-0.1 g/cm, and a basis weight thereof may be about 10-300 g/m. A total thickness of the weed prevention sheet may be 2.5 mm or less. The plural weed prevention sheets may be laid on the ground for suppressing growth of the plants. Specifically, end parts of the sheets, in a direction approximately perpendicular to an inclination direction of a slope surface, may be laminated on each other, in a manner that the end part on the upper side of the slope surface is laminated on the end part on the lower side of the slope surface.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】表面での水溜まりを防止でき、雑草などの植物の生育も抑制できる防草シートを提供する。【解決手段】遮水層と短繊維不織布を含む保水層とを組み合わせて防草シートを作製する。前記短繊維不織布の見掛密度は０．０４〜０．１ｇ／ｃｍ３程度であってもよい。前記短繊維不織布の目付が１０〜３００ｇ／ｍ２程度であってもよい。防草シートの総厚みは２．５ｍｍ以下であってもよい。この防草シートを複数地面に敷設して植物の生育を抑制してもよく、特に、法面の傾斜方向に略垂直な方向の端部同士を積層し、かつ法面の下側の端部の上に法面の上側の端部を積層してもよい。【選択図】なし
