PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorber capable of maintaining the impact absorbing function equivalent to that of a conventional protector, even using a column and a backstay with lower standard.SOLUTION: A column for use in an impact absorber includes a head part having a mechanism for connecting with a backstay, a bottom part for standing on a slope, and an intermediate part located between the head part and the bottom part. The intermediate part is provided with at least one open hole straight through the column. The net and the slope are connected at least with a second mountain-side backstay extending from the mountain-side to the valley-side of the slope so as to be inserted into the open hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】支柱や控え材の規格を下げても、従来の防護体と同等の衝撃吸収機能を維持することが可能な衝撃吸収体を提供すること。【解決手段】控え材との連結機構を備えた頭部と、斜面に立設するための底部と、前記頭部と底部との間に位置する中間部と、を有し、前記中間部に、前記支柱を一直線上に貫通してなる貫通孔を、少なくとも１つ以上設けてある衝撃吸収体用の支柱を用いる。そして、前記ネットと斜面との間を、少なくとも前記斜面の山側から谷側へと伸びて前記貫通孔へ挿通する第二の山側控え材で連結する。【選択図】図１
