ABRASION GAUGE AND INSPECTION METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion gauge and inspection method that are capable of performing a primary inspection on the degree of abrasion of a spherical support at the lower end of a buck stay in a state in which a leader is standing.SOLUTION: An abrasion gauge 40 measures the degree of abrasion of a spherical support 31 mounted on the lower end of a buck stay for supporting a leader of a pile driver from behind. The spherical support 31 is constituted by: a spherical part 32 formed at the lower end of the buck stay; a spherical support base 34 including a sphere receiving part 33 for rotatably bearing the spherical part 32; and a toric spherical support cover 35 for keeping the spherical part 32 inside the sphere receiving part 33. The abrasion gauge 40 is formed by a C-shaped large piece member 41 mounted on the spherical support cover 35 and a small piece member 42 capable of being inserted into a gap of the large piece member 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
