PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover for a vertical-type pneumatic fender, a vertical-type pneumatic fender, and a method of use of the vertical-type pneumatic fender that suppress swelling and deterioration of the fender due to adhesion of oil on a water surface.SOLUTION: A detachable protective cover 2 comprising a cylindrical protective layer body 3 and a fitting part 4 is fitted on a vertical-type pneumatic fender 1A. The protective layer body 3 covers a part of an outer surface of a barrel part 1a of the fender 1A in a vertical direction. When oil C floats in a water area where the fender 1A has been installed, the protective layer body 3 isolates the area covered by the protective layer body 3 of the fender 1A from the oil C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】水面の油が付着して防舷材が膨潤劣化することを抑制する縦型空気式防舷材用の保護カバーおよび縦型空気式防舷材並びに縦型空気式防舷材の使用方法を提供する。【解決手段】縦型空気式防舷材１Ａに、筒状の保護層体３と取り付け部４とで構成された着脱自在な保護カバー２を装着し、保護層体３により、防舷材１Ａの胴体部１ａの外面の上下方向一部の範囲を被覆し、防舷材１Ａを設置した水域に油Ｃが浮遊している場合に、保護層体３によって、油Ｃと防舷材１Ａの保護層体３により被覆した範囲とを隔絶する。【選択図】図１
