PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead damper capable of suppressing reduction in energy absorbency by suppressing a temperature rise of a lead member caused by repeated deformation, and a seismic isolator comprising the lead damper.SOLUTION: A seismic isolator lead damper 10 constituted of a lead member 18 that has a substantially circular cross-sectional shape and includes a bend 16 having a curved shape, comprises: temperature monitoring means 28 for monitoring a temperature of a surface 26 of at least one of the upper end and the lower end of the bend 16; and temperature rise suppression means 30 for suppressing a temperature rise at a portion corresponding to a monitored position, on the basis of the temperature monitored by the temperature monitoring means 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】繰り返しの変形に伴う鉛部材の温度上昇を抑制してエネルギー吸収能の低下を抑えることのできる鉛ダンパーおよびこれを備える免震装置を提供する。【解決手段】断面形状が実質的に円形で、湾曲した形状の湾曲部16を有する鉛部材18からなる免震装置用鉛ダンパー10において、湾曲部16の上端部および下端部の少なくとも一方の表面26の温度を監視する温度監視手段28と、この温度監視手段28により監視された温度に基づいて監視位置に対応した箇所の温度上昇を抑制する温度上昇抑制手段30とを備えるようにする。【選択図】図1
