PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cornice prevention device with a snow melting function for preventing the fall of cornice.SOLUTION: A cornice prevention device includes a frame 1 disposed inside a parapet 8 on the roof floor of a building, a couple of columns 2 standing on the frame, a support shaft 3 bridging the columns, and a functional part for melting snow, angle-adjustably fixed to the support shaft. The functional part for melting snow includes: (a) a surface 6X for melting snow, facing the outside of a building, and (b) a lower end face 6Y disposed on the upper side of the parapet 8 with a space left. The surface 6X for melting snow and the lower end face 6Y are heated. At least the underside of the surface 6X for melting snow includes a planar heating element 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】雪庇落下を防ぐための、融雪機能付雪庇防止装置を提供する。【解決手段】建物屋上のパラペット８の内側に設置される架台１、架台に立設される一対の支柱２、支柱間に掛け渡される支持軸３、および、支持軸に角度調節可能に取り付けられた融雪機能部を備えた、雪庇防止装置であって、融雪機能部は、（ａ）建物の外側に向いた融雪面６Ｘと、（ｂ）パラペット８の上側に間隔を置いて配置される下端面６Ｙを備えており、融雪面６Ｘおよび下端面６Ｙは加熱されており、少なくとも融雪面６Ｘの裏面には面状発熱体７が設けられている。【選択図】図１
