DRAIN MATERIAL INSTALLATION METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain material installation method, which can eliminate a damage of absorbing sediment or water in a water permeable stratum from a tip of the drain material and reduce attention and effort to set the tip of the drain material at a predetermined depth.SOLUTION: A soft ground to be improved 100 has a water permeable stratum 101 having a gravel layer and a sand layer at its deep part. A drain material installation method comprises following processes: to insert a drain material 10, which is used for foundation improvement by dehydrating based on vacuum consolidation method, into a mandrel; to connect an anchor plate 40 to a drain material lower end 11 through a rope 30; to press-fit the drain material into the ground to be improved 100 by a drain installation device capable of press-fitting the drain material along with the mandrel; and to pull out the mandrel onto the ground and embed the drain material 10 in the ground to be improved 100. The rope 30 is set at a length which positions the lower end 11 of the drain material 10 vertically at a predetermined distance X above the top face of the water permeable stratum 101 and the lower end 11 of the drain material 10 is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】ドレーン材の先端から土砂等や透水性地層の水を吸い込む害を無くし、ドレーン材の先端を所定深度に設定する配慮や労力を軽減することが可能なドレーン材打設方法を提供する。【解決手段】深部に砂礫層や砂層など透水性地層101を有する軟弱な改良対象地盤100に、真空圧密工法を適用し脱水して地盤改良するために用いるドレーン材10をマンドレルに挿通させ、ドレーン材下端部11にロープ30を介してアンカープレート40を接続し、マンドレルとともに圧入可能なドレーン打設装置で改良対象地盤100に圧入し、その後、マンドレルを地上に引き上げてドレーン材10を改良対象地盤100内に埋設させるドレーン材打設方法であって、透水性地層101の上面から所定距離Xだけ鉛直上方にドレーン材10の下端部11が位置づけられる長さにロープ30を設定し、ドレーン材10の下端部11を閉止した。【選択図】図4
