PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal member installing metal fitting for a guard fence, for easily installing a horizontal member to a column, and also excellent in an appearance.SOLUTION: A horizontal member installing metal fitting for a guard fence for installing a horizontal member on a column 2 composed of a circular pipe, is composed of a pair of horizontal member installing metal fitting bodies 1a and 1b installed on the column 2 by sandwiching the column 2, and an embossment 5 inserted into a circular opening 4 formed on the column 2, is formed on an inner surface of a central part of the horizontal member installing metal fitting bodies 1a and 1b, and the embossment 5 is formed vertically long, and an upper outer surface and a lower outer surface of the embossment 5 are formed at a right angle to the horizontal member installing metal fitting bodies 1a and 1b, and the length between an upper side outer surface and a lower side outer surface is equal to an inner diameter of then opening 4, and a left side outer surface and a right side outer surface of the embossment 5 are formed in a tapering-off shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】支柱への横部材の取り付けが容易に行え、しかも、外観に優れた防護柵用横部材取付金具を提供することにある。【解決手段】円形パイプからなる支柱２に横部材を取り付けるための防護柵用横部材取付金具において、支柱２を挟んで支柱２に取り付けられる一対の横部材取付金具本体１ａ、１ｂからなり、横部材取付金具本体１ａ、１ｂの中央部の内面には、支柱２に形成された円形状の開口４内に挿入されるエンボス５が形成され、エンボス５は、縦長に形成され、エンボス５の上部外面および下部外面は、横部材取付金具本体１ａ、１ｂに対して直角に形成され、前記上側外面と前記下側外面との間の長さは、開口４の内径に等しく、エンボス５の左側外面および右側外面は、先細りテーパー状に形成されている。【選択図】図１
