PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road buffer that is excellent in an impact absorption property and an economical efficiency.SOLUTION: A road buffer 1 has a buffer wall 10 that is made up by laminating multiple rod-like horizontal members 20 made of lumber. The horizontal member 20 has a first inclined hole 23 and a second inclined hole 24, which penetrate the horizontal member in inclined direction to an axis line. The first inclined hole 23 and the second inclined hole 24 are disposed in parallel along the axis line and in communication with each other between vertically adjacent horizontal members 20, 20. The horizontal members 20, 20 are connected with each other by a wooden connection pin that is inserted so as to stride over the first inclined hole 23 and the second inclined hole 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
