CORE MATERIAL FOR EARTH RETAINING WALL AND UPPER CORE MATERIAL REMOVING METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an upper core material 12 of a core material 5 built in an earth retaining wall to be removed by releasing connection between the upper core material and a lower core material 11.SOLUTION: A connection means 13 between a lower core material (H-shaped steel) 11 and an upper core material (H-shaped steel ) 12 comprises: a first to fourth splice plates 21 to 24, which butt against outer surfaces and inner surfaces of drilling side flanges 11a, 12a and inner surfaces and outer surfaces of natural ground side flanges 11b, 12b, respectively; a first fixing means 25, which fixes lower parts of the splice plates 21 to 24 and the lower core material 11; and a second fixing means 26, which fixes upper parts of the splice plates 21 to 24 and the upper core material 12. The second fixing means 26 includes a long bolt 35, which penetrates the first splice plate 21, the drilling side flange 12a, the second splice plate 22, the third splice plate 23, the natural ground side flange 12b and the fourth splice plate 24 from the drilling side. Only the second splice plate 22 has a screw part 36 that screws with the long bolt 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
