CARBON-CONTAINING FIRED BRICK REFRACTORY
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon-containing fired brick refractory having enhanced spalling resistance without elimination of a fibrous material even during decarbonization or dephosphorization of molten iron or the like by solving problems that the fibrous material is oxidized and eliminated because material quality of the fibrous material is nonoxide and crack propagation inhibition effect by bridging of fiber is lost in the case of a MgO-C brick refractory to which the fibrous material is applied, for example conventional nanomaterials.SOLUTION: There is provided a carbon-containing fired brick refractory 10 containing a fibrous material 12 constituted by oxide and at least one whisker 12 of spinel (MgAlO) whisker, magnesium silicate (MgSiO) whisker, magnesium silicate (MgSiO) whisker or mullite (3AlO2SiO) whisker as the fibrous material 12. There is provided a carbon-containing fired brick refractory 10 which preferably further contains an iron-containing article and further the content thereof is preferably 0.02 to 0.30 by metal iron equivalent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】従来のナノマテリアルをはじめとする繊維状物質を適用したMgO−Cれんが耐火物の場合、繊維状物質の材質が非酸化物なので使用時に酸化消失し、繊維のブリッジングによる亀裂進展抑制効果がなくなる課題を解決し、溶鉄等の脱炭や脱燐精錬中においても繊維状物質が消失しない耐スポーリング性を向上させたカーボン含有焼成れんが耐火物の提供。【解決手段】酸化物から構成される繊維状物質12を含み、繊維状物質12とし、スピネル(MgAl2O4)ウィスカー、マグネシウムシリケート(Mg2SiO4)ウィスカー、マグネシウムシリケート(MgSiO3)ウィスカー又はムライト(3Al2O3・2SiO2)ウィスカーの少なくとも1つウィスカー12を含むカーボン含有焼成れんが耐火物10。更に鉄含有物を含むことが好ましく、更にその含有量が金属鉄相当量で、0.02〜0.30であることが好ましい、カーボン含有焼成れんが耐火物10。【選択図】図5
