PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate renovation work that involves wall body removal, and improve appearance after renovation.SOLUTION: A renovation method is for removing a part of a hung wall 10 provided between a kitchen space R1 and a dining space R2 in a building 100, and includes the following steps for: removing a lower part 10e of the hung wall 10 while keeping an upper part 10d of the hung wall 10 as is; and covering a ceiling surface 2a of the kitchen space R1, a surface 20a on a first space side of the upper part 10d, and a lower edge surface 20c of the upper part 10d with a new finishing material 41, following the step for removing the lower part 10e.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】壁体の撤去を伴う改修作業を容易に実現できると共に、改修後の見た目を改善する。【解決手段】建物１００内のキッチン空間Ｒ１とダイニング空間Ｒ２との間に設けられた下がり壁１０の一部を撤去する改修方法であって、下がり壁１０の上方部１０ｄを残存させつつ下がり壁１０の下方部１０ｅを撤去する工程と、下方部１０ｅを撤去する工程の後に、キッチン空間Ｒ１の天井面２ａと、上方部１０ｄの第一の空間側の表面２０ａと、上方部１０ｄの下端面２０ｃと、を新規の仕上げ材４１で覆う工程と、を含む。【選択図】図１
