BUTT-WELDED JOINT STRUCTURE, CONNECTION STRUCTURE, STRUCTURE AND JOINING METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide butt-welded joint structure, connection structure, a structure and a joining method, enabling square steel pipes different in a corner part dimension to be surely butt-welded to each other without welding defect.SOLUTION: Joint structure is provided that is obtained by butt-welding square steel pipes 1 and 2 to each other, the square steel pipes 1 and 2 being substantially same in the side length of a cross section and different in a plate thickness and a dimension of a corner part. In the joint structure, to an inside surface of an end of one square steel pipe 1, a first backing strip 3a projecting toward an end of the other square steel pipe 2 is attached and a second backing strip 3b is attached to an inside surface of an end of the other square steel pipe 2, and the square steel pipes 1 and 2 are butt-welded to each other with the first backing strip 3a and the second backing strip 3b being abutted on each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】角部寸法の異なる角形鋼管どうしを溶接の欠陥なく、確実に突合せ溶接することができる突合せ溶接継手構造、仕口構造、構造物および接合方法を提供する。【解決手段】断面の辺長が略同一で板厚および角部の寸法が異なる角形鋼管1、2どうしを突合せ溶接した継手構造であって、一方の角形鋼管1の端部の内側面に、他方の角形鋼管2の端部に向けて突出した第一裏当て金3aを取り付けるとともに、他方の角形鋼管2の端部の内側面に第二裏当て金3bを取り付けて、第一裏当て金3aと第二裏当て金3bを当接状態にして角形鋼管1、2どうしを突合せ溶接した。【選択図】図8
