OPENING/CLOSING BODY DRIVER, VEHICLE DOOR, AND VEHICLE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing body driver, vehicle door, and vehicle that are capable of reducing a manufacturing cost by reducing the number and amount of light-emitting elements or using a light-emitting element having low output.SOLUTION: An opening/closing body driver comprises: a drive mechanism 4 that moves an opening/closing body 3; a control unit 5 that controls the drive mechanism 4; a light source unit 8 that radiates non-visible light to a detection line 6 formed along a frame unit 25 by using a microbeads type retroreflective material; and a camera 7 on which non-visible light reflected by the detection line 6 is incident. The control unit 5 includes: a detection unit 51 that detects a covered state in which the detection line 6 imaged by the camera 7 is covered by a foreign object; and a pinching prevention unit 52 that makes the drive mechanism 4 perform a motion for preventing pinching by the opening/closing body 3 when the covered state is detected. When viewing the incident lens along its optical axis from the opening side of the window frame 25, at least part of the light source unit 8 is arranged in front of the incident lens.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
