PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variation in the density of an adsorption part, and to suppress variation in mechanical strength and gas permeability.SOLUTION: Provided is an alumina particle essentially consisting of alumina, being spherical, and in which at least a part of the surface is provided with the first part where scale-shaped parts are plurally adjacent. Also provided is an alumina porous body whose main phase is alumina crystal and in which the space between alumina crystals is provided with a joint, and, in each alumina crystal, at least a part of the surface is provided with the first part where scale-shaped parts are plurally adjacent. Also provided is an adsorption member provided with a holding part adsorbing and holding an object, and in which the holding part is made of the alumina porous body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 吸着部の密度のばらつきを抑制し、機械強度や通気性のばらつきを抑制する。【解決手段】 アルミナを主成分とし、球状であり、表面の少なくとも一部に、燐片状部位が複数隣接する第1部分を備えているアルミナ粒子を提供する。また、主相がアルミナ結晶であり、アルミナ結晶同士の間に接合部を備え、アルミナ結晶が、表面の少なくとも一部に、燐片状部位が複数隣接する第1部分を備えているアルミナ多孔質体を提供する。さらに、対象物を吸着して保持するための保持部を備え、保持部が上記アルミナ多孔質体からなる吸着部材を提供する。【選択図】 図1
