REFINING CONTAINER FOR MAKING IRON
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refining container for making iron with a carbon-containing brick refractory processed, having enhanced spalling resistance without losing fibrous materials even during decarbonization or dephosphorization refining of molten iron.SOLUTION: There is provided a refining container 20 for making iron holding molten iron inside and having a gas blowing tuyere for blowing gas to the molten iron form a furnace bottom part, constituted by a work refractory 26, a perpetual refractory 24 and iron coating 22 in this order from inside, wherein a carbon-containing brick refractory formed by curing a mixture raw material containing following (1) to (3) is used for the work refractory of a part having the gas blowing tuyere 28. (1) at least one compound of AlOand MgO having a particle size range of particle diameters of 3 mm or more of 5 to 40 mass%, 1 mm or more and less than 3 mm of 10 to 45 mass%, 0.15 mm or more and less than 1 mm of 15 to 30 mass% and less than 0.15 mm of 5 to 45 mass%. (2) a graphite raw material. (3) at least two powders of MgO, AlOand SiOhaving average particle diameter of 1 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】溶鉄の脱炭や脱りん精錬中においても繊維状物質が消失しない耐スポーリング性を向上させたカーボン含有れんが耐火物を施工した製鉄用精錬容器の提供。【解決手段】内部に溶鉄を保持し、前記溶鉄に炉底部からガスを吹き込むためのガス吹き込み羽口を有する製鉄用精錬容器であって、内側からワーク耐火物26、永久耐火物24、鉄皮22の順に構成され、前記ガス吹き込み羽口28を有する部位のワーク耐火物に、(1)〜(3)を含む混合原料が硬化されたカーボン含有れんが耐火物を用いる製鉄用精錬容器20。(1)粒径で3mm以上が5〜40質量%、1〜3mm未満が10〜45質量%、0.15〜1mm未満が15〜30質量%、0.15mm未満が5〜45質量%の粒度範囲からなるAl2O3およびMgOの少なくとも1種類の化合物、(2)黒鉛原料、(3)平均粒子径が1μm以下であるMgO、Al2O3、SiO2のうち少なくとも2種類の粉体【選択図】図7
