PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door lock system capable of various types of operation.SOLUTION: A vehicle door lock system comprises: a sensor device: and a sensor control unit that controls the sensor device. The sensor device is mounted in a door handle of a vehicle or mounted on a vehicle door, and detects the presence/absence of an object that is close to or in contact with the sensor device to output a signal for locking or unlocking the vehicle door. The sensor control unit changes a control mode of the sensor device or an output mode of the sensor device on the basis of new information including at least one of information output from the sensor device and information output from another device other than the sensor device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
