PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a refractory brick improved in the dispersibility of carbon fiber for improving thermal shock resistance, and the refractory brick.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a refractory brick where a refractory raw material and a binder are kneaded, molded and dried to obtain a refractory brick, where a suspension obtained by beforehand dispersing carbon fiber into an organic solvent together with the refractory raw material other than an aggregate and the binder is prepared, this suspension is dried into a fine-powder mixture, and next, the fine-powder mixture is kneaded, molded and dried together with an aggregate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】耐熱衝撃性を向上させるため、炭素繊維の分散性を向上させた耐火れんがの製造方法および耐火れんがを提案する。【解決手段】耐火原料およびバインダーを混練、成形、乾燥して耐火れんがを得る耐火れんがの製造方法において、炭素繊維を、骨材以外の耐火原料およびバインダーとともに予め有機溶媒中に分散させた懸濁液とし、この懸濁液を乾燥させて微粉の混合物とし、次にその微粉の混合物を骨材とともに混練、成形、乾燥する。【選択図】図1
