PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand wash device capable of preventing malfunction of a cleaning liquid discharger during hand washing, without requiring a complex device structure.SOLUTION: A hand wash device 1 includes: a water discharger 10 for discharging water or hot water when detecting an object; and a cleaning liquid discharger 20 for discharging a cleaning liquid. The water discharger 10 includes: a water discharge port part 12; a water discharge sensor 11 for detecting an object in a detection range; and a water discharge control part for controlling discharging and stopping of water or hot water from the water discharge port part 12 on the basis of a detection signal of the water discharge sensor 11. The cleaning liquid discharger 20 includes: a discharge port part 22; a cleaning liquid discharge sensor 21 for detecting an object in a detection range; and a cleaning liquid discharge control part for controlling discharging and stopping of the cleaning liquid from the discharge port part on the basis of a detection signal of the cleaning liquid discharge sensor. The sensor direction which is an emission direction of emission light emitted from the cleaning liquid discharge sensor 21 is inclined lower than the discharge direction of the water or hot water discharged from the water discharge port part 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
