PLANAR LIGHT EMITTING BODY, AND ILLUMINATION DEVICE AND BUILDING MATERIAL THAT USE THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar light emitting body having a high response speed when an optical characteristic is changed.SOLUTION: A planar light emitting body 100 includes a planar light emitting unit 10 comprising an organic electroluminescence element, a light scattering variable unit 20 whose degree of light scattering property is variable, and an optically adjustable optical adjustment unit 70. The planar light emitting body 100 includes a first face F1 configured so as to take out light from the planar light emitting unit 10, and a second face F2 arranged on an opposite side to the first face F1. The optical scattering variable unit 20, the planar light emitting unit 10 and the optical adjustment unit 70 are arranged in a thickness direction between the first face F1 and the second face F2. The optical adjustment unit 70 has a first wire grid element 71a and a second wire grid element 71b, and the first wire grid element 71a and the second wire grid element 71b are configured to be relatively movable. The optical adjustment unit 70 is arranged to be nearer to the second face F2 side than the planar light emitting unit 10 and the optical scattering variable unit 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】光学特性を変化させる場合に応答速度の速い面状発光体を提供する。【解決手段】面状発光体１００は、有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子で構成される面状発光部１０と、光散乱性の程度が変化可能な光散乱可変部２０と、光学調整可能な光学調整部７０とを備えている。面状発光体１００は、面状発光部１０からの光を取り出すように構成された第１面Ｆ１と、第１面Ｆ１とは反対側に配置された第２面Ｆ２とを有する。光散乱可変部２０と面状発光部１０と光学調整部７０とは、第１面Ｆ１と第２面Ｆ２との間において厚み方向に配置されている。光学調整部７０は、第１ワイヤグリッド素子７１ａと、第２ワイヤグリッド素子７１ｂとを有し、第１ワイヤグリッド素子７１ａ及び第２ワイヤグリッド素子７１ｂが相対的に移動することが可能なように構成されている。光学調整部７０は、面状発光部１０及び光散乱可変部２０よりも第２面Ｆ２側に配置されている。【選択図】図１
