PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection port device capable of safely opening and closing a cover member.SOLUTION: An inspection port device according to the present invention comprises a frame member provided along an edge of an inspection port formed on a wall that separates an indoor space and a wall attic space, a plate-like cover member installed so as to block an opening in the frame member, and an engaging part detachably engaging with a mating part formed in the frame member. The engaging part comprises a cover member covering a peripheral edge of the cover member held by the frame member from the indoor side with the engaging part being engaged with the mating part, and an abutting piece attached to the cover member and pressing the peripheral edge of the cover member from the indoor space side with the engaging part being engaged with the mating part.
