PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a closed state of a water channel when a water level on a downstream side rises, while opening the water channel when a water level on an upstream side rises, even when a flap gate is installed on the water channel at a place where drift sand, sediment, drift wood and rubble accumulate.SOLUTION: A flap gate includes: a gate body 12 having a top end 12a supported rotatably on a swinging shaft 12b, a lower part 12c swingable in an upstream direction and a downstream direction of a water channel, the lower part 12c swinging toward the downstream side for opening the water channel when a water level on the upstream side rises, and maintaining a closed state of the water channel when a water level on the downstream side rises; and a box body 16 provided on a surface of the gate body 12 on the downstream side, to protrude toward the downstream side. The box body 16 has a bottom surface 16a formed to protrude and be curved from a bottom end of the gate body 12, with the swinging shaft 12b side as a center, when seen from a direction of longitudinal cross-section of the water channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】漂砂・流砂や流木、瓦礫が堆積する場所や水路にフラップゲートを設置しても、上流側水位の上昇時には水路を開放する一方、下流側水位の上昇時には水路を閉鎖した状態を維持する。【解決手段】搖動軸12bに上端部12aを回転自在に支持させて、下部12cを水路の上流方向及び下流方向に搖動自在とし、上流側水位の上昇時には下部12cが下流側に搖動して水路を開放する一方、下流側水位の上昇時には水路の閉鎖状態を維持するゲート本体12と、ゲート本体12の下流側の面に、下流側に突出状に設けた箱体16とを具備する。箱体16は、底面16aを、水路の縦断面方向から見て、ゲート本体12の下端部から、搖動軸12b側を中心とする凸湾曲面に形成する。【選択図】図1
