PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve safety and convenience of a mechanical multistory parking facility.SOLUTION: A control method of a mechanical multistory parking facility 1 comprises: a first input step S1 to accept a passcode for authenticating a user as a contracted user through a control panel 7 before opening an entrance door 5 of a garage device 2; a first authentication step S2 to determine whether or not the user who input the passcode is the contracted user on the basis of the passcode input in the first input step S1; a second input step S6 to accept the passcode input by the user through the control panel 7 before closing the entrance door 5; and a second authentication step S7 to determine whether or not the passcode input in the second input step S6 matches a second authentication code. 【課題】 機械式立体駐車設備において安全性及び利便性の更なる向上を図ることを目的とする。【解決手段】機械式立体駐車設備１の制御方法は、車庫装置２の入出庫扉５を開く前に、操作盤７を介して、ユーザが契約したユーザであることを認証するための暗証コードの入力を受け付ける第１入力ステップＳ１と、第１入力ステップＳ１において入力された暗証コードに基づいて、当該暗証コードを入力したユーザが契約したユーザであるか否かを判定する第１認証ステップＳ２と、入出庫扉５を閉じる前に、操作盤７を介して、ユーザによる暗証コードの入力を受け付ける第２入力ステップＳ６と、第２入力ステップＳ６において入力された当該暗証コードが第２暗証コードと一致するか否かを判定する第２認証ステップＳ７と、を含み、第２暗証コードは第１暗証コードの桁数よりも少ない所定のコードであることを特徴とする。【選択図】 図５
