PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device for a two-wheeler which can effectively discriminate between a two-wheeler and a user (person) and suitably used for a gate device in a two-wheeler parking lot.SOLUTION: A detection device for a two-wheeler comprises a transmitter 20a which transmits radio wave of necessary output, a receiver 20b which is installed apart from the transmitter 20a with an interval through which a person and a two-wheeler 14 can pass and which receives radio wave transmitted from the transmitter 20a, and a management unit 26 which, when a person or the two-wheeler 14 passes through the interval between the transmitter 20a and the receiver 20b, determines passage of the two-wheeler 14 without determining passage of the person according to difference of the reception level by the receiver 20b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】二輪車と利用者（人）とを有効に判別でき、駐輪場のゲート装置に用いて好適な二輪車の検知装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る二輪車の検知装置は、所要出力の電波を発信する発信器２０ａと、該発信器２０ａに対して、人および二輪車１４が通過可能な間隔を置いて配置され、発信器２０ａから発信される電波を受信する受信器２０ｂと、発信器２０ａと受信器２０ｂとの間を人または二輪車１４が通過した際、受信器２０ｂによる受信レベルの差により、人の通過を判別せず、二輪車１４の通過を判別する管理部２６とを具備することを特徴とする。【選択図】図３
