PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently implement a work to temporarily place a soil improvement material on the ground.SOLUTION: A soil improvement material temporary placing device 1 is a device for temporarily placing a soil improvement material in powder and granular material state on the ground. The soil improvement material temporary placing device 1 has a cylindrical member 2 with an underside opening, which has a soil improvement material inflow port 26 on an upper side and extends in a vertical direction, and a box-shaped member 3 with an underside opening, which is installed on the cylindrical member 2 so as to cover at least a lower part of the cylindrical member 2 from outside. An undersurface 2b of the cylindrical member 2 is located above the undersurface of the box-shaped member 3. The underside opening of the box-shaped member 3 can be blocked with the ground. A horizontal sectional area of an inner space of the box-shaped member 3 is larger than that of an inner space of the cylindrical member 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
