PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolation improvement method of existing structure capable of eliminating isolation clearance between a first upper structure of an existing structure and a second upper structure disposed neighboring the first upper structure.SOLUTION: The seismic isolation improvement method of existing structures includes: a base isolation step in which a first seismic isolator 18 is installed on a non-isolated existing structure 10; and a connection step in which the first upper structure 14 of the existing structure 10 supported by the first seismic isolator 18 and a second upper structure 34 which is disposed neighboring the first upper structure 14 supported by the second seismic isolator 38.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
