PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product autonomously transferring water with propulsion force as force different from gravity.SOLUTION: There is provided a product, in which product surface comprises multiple hydrophilic regions and multiple hydrophobic regions, hydrophilicity in the hydrophilic regions is increased toward a predetermined direction on the surface, or hydrophobicity in the hydrophobic regions is decreased toward the predetermined direction, or both of hydrophilic increment in the hydrophilic regions and hydrophobic decrease in the hydrophobic region are generated, so that the product has a property that water is apparently autonomously transferred in the direction. At least one of the hydrophobic regions has a broader width or low hydrophilicity than the other neighbor hydrophobic regions. 【課題】 重力とは異なる力を推進力として、水を自律的に移動させる物品の提供。【解決手段】 物品表面が、親水領域と疎水領域とを、それぞれ複数備えてなり、親水領域における親水性が前記表面の一定方向に向けて増加するか、もしくは疎水領域における疎水性が、前記一定方向に向けて減少するか、または親水領域における親水性の増加と、疎水性領域における疎水性の減少をともに生じさせ、もって当該方向に水が見かけ上自律的に移動する性質を有する物品において、疎水領域の少なくとも一つが、近隣の他の疎水領域よりも、幅が広いかまたは親水性が低いものとする。このような物品表面からは、水が効率よく排除される。【選択図】図2
