PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension resistant insulator component capable of withstanding high tension generated by earthquake, strong wind or the like and capable of attenuating vibration of a power transmission line.SOLUTION: A tension resistant glass component of the present disclosure is made of ceramic and includes a columnar shape base part extending from a first end to a second end. The base part includes a first site containing a first end, a second site containing a second end, and a third site located between the first site and the second site, and a diameter of the first site and a diameter of the second site are larger than a diameter of the third site.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
