PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard fence for a bridge, which secures a clearance limit specified by the Government Order on Road Design Standards, through the use of an existing wheel guard, even in the case of the narrow wheel guard.SOLUTION: A guard fence for a bridge includes: a base member 2 that is loaded on a top surface of a wheel guard of the bridge for a road and that has a plurality of anchor bolt mounting holes 21; a column part 3 that is positioned above the base member 2; and a holding member 4 that is fixed to the base member 2 and at least partially extended upward with respect to the anchor bolt mounting hole 21 and in a backward direction opposite to a road direction, that is, the holding member 4 having a column part holding part 43 for holding the column part 3. The column part holding part 43 holds at least a front part and a lateral part of the column part 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
