PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that autonomously opens and closes a sunshade using an existing configuration to conduct energy-saving operation of an air conditioner.SOLUTION: An air conditioner (1) includes: an indoor unit (18) installed in a certain space; a solar radiation amount detection part (11) installed in the indoor unit to detect a solar radiation amount in the space; a communication part (12) for transmitting information to the outside from the indoor unit; and a control part (13) for controlling a sunshade for shielding solar radiation to the space to be opened and closed depending on the solar radiation amount detected by the solar radiation amount detection part using the communication part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
