METHOD FOR REINFORCING OR REPAIRING STEPPED COLUMN AND REINFORCED OR REPAIRED STEPPED COLUMN
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reinforcing or repairing a stepped column by performing effective strength reinforcement on a stepped column of special structure.SOLUTION: A reinforced or repaired stepped column 100 of the present invention includes a stepped column 900, a filler layer 200, and a fiber reinforced resin layer 300. The stepped column 900 has a stepped section in which an upper column 910 and a lower column 920 having different outer peripheral diameters from each other which are connected in the axial direction and the outer peripheral diameter of the lower column 920 is larger than the outer peripheral diameter of the upper column 910 of 1.4 times or more and 5.0 times or less. The filler layer 200 smoothly connects at least the outer peripheral surface of the upper column 910 and the outer peripheral surface of the lower column 920 filled at least in a corner part 951 of the stepped section. The fiber reinforced resin layer 300 is provided along the outer peripheral surface of the upper column 910, the surface of the filler layer 200, and the outer peripheral surface of the lower column 920.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
