PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing a platform door unit which can reduce a cost on installation of a platform door more, a terminal device used in installing the platform door unit on a platform, and a platform door system.SOLUTION: A method for installing a platform door system 1 includes a platform door unit installing step and a setting step. The platform door unit installing step includes installation of a part of a plurality of platform door units 2. The setting step includes setting such that a platform control device 14 monitors an installed platform door unit 2a on the basis of a temporary signal corresponding to a signal sent to the platform control device 14 from each of the platform door units 2 when both a non-installed platform door unit 2b and the installed platform door unit 2a are installed on a platform 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
